You can't, win so why not take your time up in training/shooting instead of worring about it. -----------
I know there are some states which require qualification with your carry weapons (and some which limit the caliber to that which you shoot to qualify or smaller). However, I fail to see the difference between this practice and the idea of only being allowed to drive the exact car you drove for your driving test.
Cars kill far more folks than guns do. Each car operates differently (controls/gauges/weight/horsepower/etc.), just as each handgun does. And yet, you can drive a Cooper to get your license, then drive an H2 Hummer everyday.
My resistance to a shooting requirement notwithstanding (there's no skills requirement contained in the Second Amendment), the most valuable part of any training I've had is the part where you manipulate the grey matter between your ears.
