Florida Non Reciprocity States CCW travel

I will be getting my CCW Florida Non Resident in a few days. Any input on travel to the following. I live in NJ and plan to travel via auto to FLvia PA,DE,Maryland,VA, NC, SC, GA and to Fl. It is my understand that I would be ok CCW in all the states except NJ,Maryland, and SC with my Florida CCW Non Resident. In those state not having reciprocity I must have the Gun in seperate locked case and ammo in seperate locked case in the trunk of car.. Am I missing something here.. ?? Thanks in advance

Sounds like you've got the right idea. Have you tried to get a CHP in NJ? Seems to me like that would be a nightmare!

In SC: you can have it in a center console or glove box (unlocked), loaded - no permit required. IIRC, GA is the same...

There is a discussion about non res CCW FL permit and PA over at theHighroad.org. Does anyone know the current situation? Is PA recognizing a non-res FL permit?
