Packing at Great Lakes Crossing Mall, Michigan

Went to Bass Pro shop at Great Lakes Crossing today, on the way in a sign that said that all firearms must be in a case. I figured: My holster is like a case. So in I go.

Does anyone know if this is intended to prevent CC, or just keep poeple from walking in with a gun in hand to the range. I'm guessing the latter, but does anyone know?

Also, I didn't go into the rest of the mall, but has anyone noticed if the whole mall is posted or not?

    Thanks,

    Lloyd

I noticed while down there last year, Bass Pro has a sign , no firearms past this point(into the mall, but no signs in the mall itself. I assume the no firearms was intended for the range, not CC holders since it was not with the gun with line thru it, or MCL # sign.

At Cabalas they have a sign that is all guns must be brought to front customer counter, it only applies to guns coming in for sale. Your CCW is not the issue.

Thanks Guys, I figure until I see a big, obvious sign that clearly says it applies to cc, I'll go on with my life.

The best thing to do is contact the manager and ask. Since the manager is responsible your odds of an accurate answer are pretty good.
