Oh my - 90 days!
That will seem an eternity for sure. I hope that is the max time allowed and you may have what you want a lot sooner.

It seems that the OSBI is getting the paperwork done a little more quickly these days. Last I heard was about 60 days, assuming they OK your finger prints. In Tulsa County I would assume they did them digitally, which usually eliminates the problem.

I turned my package in at the Oklahoma county jail on April 9. I guess thats been 42 days. Still waiting.
A man I work with turned his in about a week before I did but, it was in Norman and he got a letter back saying his finger prints were no good and would have to be redone. That means it took the OSBI 50 days to make this decision
I thought the OSBI was only allowed 14 days.
Oh well.
Patience.
I love it. Both of you gettn your permits. 90 days is gonna be like waitn on a new holster............
Of course, you and your mate can use this waiting period for such things as getting holsters, concealed garments together and practice carrying around the house and practice at the range.......
Just a thought![]()
I turned mine in on March 1. My grandmother turned hers in less than a week before. She got hers back about 2 weeks ago and still no sign of mine. I think I'm losing my mind. Should I be worried?

Good for you guys. Now is good time to pick out your carry weapons and holsters if you have not done it.

I think the knowing how long the waiting is is the worst - even though I have yet to pick a weapon I still don't want to wait!

Sig P239 .40 S&W in a C-TAC. Currently looking for a good option for my wife, the KelTec 380 we shot yesterday would work for her size wise, but would be a pita to train with.
Prints were electronic and looked good, I just worry they will kick mine because of a scar on my index finger (cut my finger bad working in a machine shop in high school) and they may think its smudged.
Its 45 days here in VA. If they don't have an answer for you in 45 days they have to give you a temporary CHP until yours comes in.
and I thought 45 days was long...
Congrats,
My Wifey Poo and I turned in our paperwork about 28days ago, so we are still waiting too.
my carry rig is also A Sig P239. mine is a 9mm SAS though. I'm still waiting on a MS VMII w/mag pouch and a belt from Beltman.
Spousal Unit bought a Bersa Thunder .380 and a carry purse last Sunday @ local gun show. she is all geared up and ready to rock.

Yeah, I'm a bit worried about that too. I cut the end off of my index finger on my left hand when I was 19 in a car wreck. I've also had a Palmar Fasciectomy on both hands in the last 5 years for Dupuytren's Contracture. My prints probably look like Frankenstein's prints.![]()
I put mine in on March 1st and got it back on May 22. Better than 90 days...
