whats the link that mentions his FFL?
The class 3 license means only one thing...that he possessed a class 3 license for a particular gun and that gun happened to be full auto.
You must possess a tax stamp for each select fire or full auto gun possessed and that costs 200 bucks a pop. The guy went though an FBI background check, had his local CLEO sign it, two sets of fingerprints, two 2x2 pictures a signed statement that he is a citizen of the U.S. and an approval by the ATF to have it.
Any one can get one if it is legal to do so in their state and most of them are...all they have to do is jump though the hoops to get.
Being a member of the Aryan Nation is not a disqualifier anymore than being a member of the Black Panthers or any other of the hundreds of radical fringe groups that exist out there.
Apparently the guy had a clean record, or he would not have received a Class 3 tax stamp. Having a Class 3 license is NOT the same as being a dealer...I have a few myself and I dont deal.
I dont see this as an issue really...I just see it as another jerk with a Class 3 license that belongs of a club of idiots...nothing more, nothing less.
It is better to live one day as a lion, than a thousand years as a lamb...

Maker of cool things to shoot
Well, the Virginia Tech killer exposes the left to accusations of "see what happens when we do what the left wants and let anyone and everyone come live in this country?!" And he killed more people than this other guy. So we can point right back at them and say, "Well, you may oppose guns but you support unbridled immigration, and look at who killed 32 people -- an immigrant." Nyah nyah. If they want to play that game. What an anomaly it must be out of 80,000,000+ gun owners that this guy was an "aryan." I mean, maybe all the aryan nation guys have guns, but by FAR, not all gun people are aryan nation. Only the disingenuous will try to associate his "membership" with the ideology of gun ownership.
If Michael Moore went and killed some people and then got put down like a dog, they'd find that he had an NRA Life Membership. SO WHAT?!
Maybe this guy was doing like Mike did, joining so he could try to screw up their goals.
Yeah, it's a long shot, I know, but Mike demonstrates that it's possible.
Well.. this is what some of them claim to be thier history... It would not suprise me if someone had made up "membership cards" but I don't see them as being a regular thing. Heck... anyone can make up a card. But... they don't just exist as a prison gang according to this (assuming any of its true)
A Brief History: The Legacy of Aryan Nations
Aryan Nations came into being in the year 1974 from the efforts of our founder, the late Pastor Richard G. Butler. Aryan Nations was originally formed as the political wing of the Church of Jesus Christ-Christian; the latter organization being formed by the late Rev. Wesley Swift, one of the foremost proponents of the Aryan Identity message during the past century.
On a twenty-acre compound in Hayden Lake, deep in the forests of Northern Idaho, Pastor Butler began laying the foundations for an organization that would go on to become a major source of inspiration for thousands of National Socialists, Identity believers, survivalists and all White men and women who held pride in their genetic legacy as Aryans and who held within themselves the fanatical desire to strive for the territorial imperative of a future Homeland for White Aryans on the North American continent.
With an operating Church, meeting halls and outdoor facilities that became home to the annual Aryan Nations World Congress, the Aryan Nations soon became the prime nerve-center for the Aryan movement in the occupied United States.
Aryan Nations vigorous printing projects served (amongst other tasks) to cause the widespread dissemination of Aryan literature to incarcerated individuals - thus fomenting the radicalization of a large sector of White prisoners - much to the chagrin of the advocates of Zionist social control.
Aryan Nations also gained the widespread attention of the world during the early nineteen-eighties when several members of the Aryan Nations and Robert J. Matthews went on to form ’The Order’ - a group that conducted practical acts of economic sabotage, assassination and other forms of covert direct action against the tyrannical and anti-Aryan Zionist system.
Aryan Nations became the focus of world attention again when - via a refused request to become informants for federal intelligence agencies working against the Aryan Nations - the Weaver family in the nearby town of Naples, Idaho suffered the tragedy that has become known as ‘The Siege at Ruby Ridge’. The story need not be repeated here, yet those who do not know about this incident are recommended to study it as it has - and will continue to be - a flashpoint for many Aryan activists for many years to come.
In an erroneous lawsuit brought against the Aryan Nations by anti-Aryan forces, the organization lost the Hayden Lake compound and became more decentralized in nature. The Zionists soon realized that this was not to their benefit as it caused a great backlash with many leaderless members of the Aryan Nations taking action into their own hands after the diaspora from the Hayden Lake compound.
Aryan Nations World Headquarters was transferred to a ten-acre compound in rural Potter County, Pennsylvania, which was host to the 2002 Aryan Nations World Congress. During this time, soon before his death, Pastor Butler appointed Pastor Ray Redfeairn as National Director of the organization - the latter being an individual of cunning mind, violent tendencies and radical outlook who aided in the evolution of the Aryan Nations worldview as the organization moved into a future which was very different than that perhaps originally envisioned by the Aryan activists of past generations.
I had a reply from one person at the newspaper:
I included several links to FAQ sites for NFA firearms.I know enough about weapons to know that being vague in stories (firearm, rifle, shotgun) is probably my best bet if I don't want to make a mistake! I am trying to learn more, however, now that I'm being called upon to do more crime reporting.
Immigration issues...
I'm an immigrant, legal, green card holder, I do have firearms, over the last 7 years I've had over 5 background checks for various reasons.
An issue I have to deal with is that WA State has a license for immigrants for possession of firearms, mine is up 8/20/2007.
So I inquired several times about renewing it early. Turns out in my state, I'm no longer allowed to have a license issued.
That will make me a class C felon if I do not turn over my firearms to an American citizen, I will turn my firearms over to my friend who is an American citizen, as he will hold them for me, and I will not have to worry about anything happening to them until I can get a new license or become an American citizen... I can do that June 2010...
Another person in my situation is talking with a Lawyer regarding the license being an infringement of clause 2 of the 14th amendment...
We'll see how that goes I guess...
the shooter was convicted of domestic violence last year.
he DID NOT have any valid firearms license, therefore, nor was he legally in possession of any firearm.
again, nothing we can do if the present laws aren't being enforced. creating new ones or complaining the existing ones don't work, is futile, if they aren't even gonna bother using them.
i'd still like to see a link to something that stated he had a license....

I dare say a more accurate statement has rarely been uttered, written or read in the history of man.
The theory of racial superiority, it's belief system and practices thereof have no basis of facts upon which to stand. I'd wager a vast majority of the members of such bodies would be surprised to find the racial mixture of their ancestry and how "unpure" their pedigree actually is.
"Ray Nagin is a colossal disappointment" - NRA/ILA Executive Director Chris W. Cox.
"...be water, my friend."
Spokeman review and krem.com had that information...
What the heck is a class 3 liscense ? Never heard of such an animal.
There that's because there is no such thing as a class 3 license...
generally people are refering to one of two things if they use the term class three license:
1) slomone who has a tax stamp for an NFA item like a machine gun, suppressor, etc. this is not a license to possess the item. it is simply a statement that you have paid a tax.
2) an FFL who has paid his Class 3 SOT tax that allows him to deal in certain NFA weapons like machine guns. This really isn't a license either (though it's much closer to one) if you have an FFL then you can pay an additional amount every year for a class 3 (SOT) Special occupational Tax and it allows you to deal in such items.
here is a good bit of info on what most people are talking about when they say "class 3"
