I am just as nice as anyone lets me be and can be just as mean as anyone makes me. - Quoted from Terryger, New member to our forum.
There is always somebody trying to come up with a gimmick to make a buck and there are enough people that think this makes sense .I ain't one of them.I think if your that concerned get a CHL badge tattooed on your forehead
"Outside of the killings, Washington has one of the lowest crime rates in the country,"

Another way to say "Look at me, I need attention".
lol, I almost thought this was a joke. This is a horrible idea for many reasons. CC is for personal protection, not for the community, so why would you advertise to the community that you have a CHP?
The situation mentioned on the webpage was a bad one regardless. Mr. An should have never left the store in the first place.. Chasing down robbers in the street and firing at them while they are fleeing? Thats crazy... No "CC Badge or Pouch" would do anything to help in this situation.
Plus, the item being sold looks like it was made in someones basement with a 25 year old sewing machine and a piece of yarn..
Obama didn't get elected to warranty your muffler. He's here to warranty your life.
My permit is enough id. Mr. A was in the wrong for chasing the bandits into the parking lot and firing at them. The threat was over when they exited his store. Feel bad for him, but he was a victim of a robbery and also his own stupidity. Plus anyone yahoo can buy a id badge, or pouch or even fraudulent police items ie caps, vest etc, so having such an item is no guarantee you are a good guy. When an officer points his gun at you and tells you to drop yours, you had better do so ASAP. Common sense should have told Mr. A to drop his gun and later explain himself to the police, when they no longer felt threatened. Pouch would have made no difference.

I'll just wear my class 4 vest and Kevlar helmet when I carry. Thanks anyway.

No Thank you, I don't want to play, Cop , Cop, Whos a Cop.
quis custodiet ipsos custodes?
If a cop is 20 yards away and at night, that badge isnt going to be much good... Who is going to even think of flipping that thing down in a stressfull situation?
"No" vote from me. I keep my ID in my wallet.
Pass.

Wouldn't purchase that as either a CCW or a LEO. I started wearing my badge off-duty on a chain because I feel its more likely to draw any responding officers attention when its in the middle of my chest rather than on my belt. Tunnel vision does happen. I wonder if the LEO'S would even see something like the pouch described even if it was opened since their focus would be on the gun. I agree that your weapon should be holstered or on the ground by the time LEOs arrive, or if not, that you immediately comply with their directions.
You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, "I have lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along." . . . You must do the thing you think you cannot do. Eleanor Roosevelt
