A couple of weeks. They have a fast turn around. When I first got my non-res it took 13 day's mailbox back to mailbox.

It actually took longer to get my resident permit when I became a resident here.

You should have had it back by the 17th. Give it an even month and call em.

    9 Days for me!!
The constitutions of most of our States assert, that all power is inherent in the people; that they may exercise it by themselves, in all cases to which they think themselves competent, . . . that it is their RIGHT AND DUTY TO BE AT ALL TIMES ARMED . . . Thomas Jefferson (June 5, 1824)

My first one was 9 days. My last renewal was 17 days. Next renewal is due in a couple of months.

It seems that since they went to plastic licenses for NRs (Residents still get paper), that they do them in batches, thus the huge (for them) time delay in getting them back to us.

Best guess now seems to be 1 month or less.

Mine 7 days door to door
My wife's took over a month door to door
we've both had them before and they have only taken about a week to ten days so I'm guessing that something strange happened with my wife's last permit...either that or they are running behind. They are required, by law, to issue in a certain amount of time but sometimes the go beyond that I think.

It's been a while, but I seem to remember getting it in less than a month.
