    Talking Nacho Run

Well my permit to carry finally showed up in the mail today, so I took a trip to Wally World along with a few other places as an armed citizen. Things went pretty well and I felt comfortable with my XD on my side. I did learn however that I can't with for my K&D holster to come, I hate the the cheapo Uncle Mikes IWB that I got to use until it comes but I guess it will have to do.

A big congrats to you on your permit.
I got an XD40SC a couple months ago and swore I wouldnt carry it until I got me a good holster for it ( I ordered a K&D Dakota Defender ). My new holster should be here in several weeks.
I've carried a 642 in an Uncle MIkes IWB for 9 months now and hate it, but it has got me by. I have a holster ordered for the 642 also..
I can feel your pain brotha......

I've got a long wait for my holster still since I only ordered it a week and a half ago, but I guess I'll just have to be patient since there's not really much I can do to speed it up.

I'm so with ya on the cheapo uncle mikes IWB. I was able to modify it and make it fairly servicable though. You can read how here.

Sewing the clip back on was a pain in the butt, but worth it while I waited for my crossbreed.

    Congrats on the nachos!

Congrats on the permit. Just practice drawing in privacy, and stay alert when out and about. Also analyze hypothetical "shoot" and "dont shoot" situations.

I've been wearing my K&D cochise for a couple weeks now. its very much worth it.
