I need to go back and read the directions to my Flo-Bee and see if there is a section about not using it on Legal Concealed Weapon Carriers........

Here in KY it isn't a crime to carry in a posted business unless they "make" you and ask you to leave and you refuse. So I don't pay any attention to those signs -- fortunately there aren't many of them. My hair cutter (female) keeps a .38 special in her desk drawer!

Well, the issue for many is that you may be able to get away with going in there, but do you want to be supporting someone who discriminates against good guys, and is senseless enough to post such a sign and think it'll help accomplish any good whatsoever?

Hehe, funny you should mention that. I started another thread similar to this one about a bank I dealt with having "no 2" snubbies" sign up. Then a few months later I hear this story on the radio about the branch with which I was doing business.

Same guy robbed the same branch three times in six months.

In PA, I am not getting away with anything. If I am "made", I will leave the property. The no guns signs in PA does not have the weight of law. God blessed PA more than Texas on this one (in PA, the 30.06 is a fine deer hunting rifle, nothing more, nothing else).

Do I want to support someone who discriminates against good guys. Heck no!! I have not seen these signs in any places I enter (even on the PA border w/ NJ). Will I inconvenience myself at the time to make a point, no. Will I communicate my displeasure at the policy in an anonymous way, yes. Will I try to positively influence individuals to the 2A, yes.

Good work. I would definitely follow up with the owner. Keep up posted.

No problem at the shop I go to. My barber was the guy who ran the CCW class I took. The barber is three doors down from the gun shop I usually deal with, too. Small towns are nice.

I can't remember my last barber shop visit, my wife has been cutting my hair for a long time. It's for the convenience more than anything else.

This just makes me realize that I take some things for granted, I have been using the same BARBER for a long while now and we talk hunting, fishing and everything in between. I know I have no worries about him posting, just retiring!

I'm in the same boat and used to think I needed a barber. Then one day I took the clippers out and started working.

    1. 3/8 cut all around to shape it up.
    2. Go back and buzz the sides, back, neck.
    3. Using a free hand, come up the back and across the top to the level you like.
    4. Repeat until flat and even (more or less!)
    5. Edge the flattop so it doesn't look weird. I angle in about 20 degrees.
    6. Repeat the buzz to be sure everything's even.
