Woohoo...passed my CHL range test
I have successfully met all the requirements for a Texas CHL as of today. The range qualifications was the last step which I accomplished this afternoon. The wife goes to the range in an hour to see if she can put down the paper dummy and then the paperwork gets sent to Austin

Great! I hope it was more challenging then the Kansas range test. In Kansas if you have never picked up a gun in your life you have about a 90% chance of passing the range qualification.

congrates. It took my about 3 months to get mine back.
Remembering that I don't think the 2nd amendment means that I should have to have a CHL but don't you think the range fire test was a joke?

Way to go, Tim! Now you can start practicing and get comfortable with your carry rig. And start plotting the nacho run.
