    Fairs and Carnivals in MI

My kids were both in the local Memorial Day parade and wanted me to take them to the fair after and waste a bunch of money on unwinnable games for them.

The fair was held in a local park(legal carry place) and it wasn't until I was on my way that I started to wonder if this park was now an "entertainment facility." Even so, the statute says "entertainment facility seating 2500 or more." I didn't see any seats. I guess this was legal, right?

On a side note, I noticed that it would suck real bad to have to shoot in that kind of crowd. Hard to NOT hit a bystander if you miss the BG. I usually try to avoid crowds anyway, but can't always.

Don't know about the legality of the carry, but it is a good thought about crowds. I wouldnt leave my gun at home because of a crowd, but it sure complicates things.

Got to know your target and what lies behind it, before you can safely take a shot. Injure an innocent bystander and you'll be in a world of hurt.
