    Limiting your carry methods

To what extent do you try to limit your method of carry?

    I mean avoiding
....Monday - primary pocket carry, right front pocket
....Tuesday - primary right hip iwb
    ....Wednesday - primary SmartCarry
....Thursday - primary right hip iwb, BUG left ankle
....Friday - primary right hip iwb, BUG front left pocket carry
    ....Saturday - primary fanny pack
....Sunday - primary right hip, tuckable and tucked
    ....

How many variations do you try to limit yourself to so that you don't go searching for your gun?

Just one. Right side at 330 or 4:00 o'clock. Always.
It is more comforatable knowing where the gun is even if the weapon isnt always the same.

One and one only, 3:30, IWB.

Same gun, same holster, same postion.

    Always.

I carry at about 3:30 almost all the time. The only time that changes is if I am forced to be somewhere where concealment is of utmost importance, then it is a P3AT in my right front pocket.

One gun, one spot, same way every day, every time. If I need a gun, I don't want to be patting myself down trying to remember where I'm carrying today.

I use two methods of carry. Officer's ACP OWB or pocket carry a J frame.

Variation is bad. When scat strikes the whirlygig, I'd prefer to find it quickly. That means: IWB/OWB on strong side for primary, and pocket for BUG.

I carry at 4-5 IWB...unless in cold winter day clothing and then it is OWB or in coat pocket.

Almost always, my Ultra is on my strong side at 3:30/IWB. Once in a while I may use my SOB holster or a P-3AT in a front pocket holster.

Usually the same method...I'm comfortable with it and don't have to think too much about its retrieval if needed...

Primary always the same, BUG changes from left and right pocket, depending on what I already have in them.

I try and follow the KISS principle.

I keep my OWB and IWB in the relative same position strong side. I keep my OC on my weak side and my folder on my strong side. I always have something I can get at from either side if need be. Once in a great while I will pocket carry and make a conscious effort during that time to remind myself that it's there.

I am a simple minded fool and like to keep things easy. No matter which gun I am carrying it is always in the same spot. Either IWB or OWB at 3:30
