Got Made
I have been waiting the past 3 weeks for the little flash pack the sherriff office sends out to let you know your permit is ready to be picked up. Well yesterday I checked my mailbox first (like I have ever since I sent in the paperwork) but as usual nothing there.
It turns out you can get made before you ever have your permit. Last night I noticed something taped to my front door and nothing on any of my neighbor's doors. So I go and check it out. Turns out the mailman put my permit notification in the wrong mailbox and so my neighbor opened and then realized that it was not their mail.
Guess it could have been worse, but thought you all might enjoy how to get made before you even have your permit.

LOL...
I hope the mailman doesn't have the problem (there are only two houses on my street.)
Congrats on your permit!

We've met more of out neighbors exchanging miss delivered mail. Sometimes I wonder if they can read!?

I think my neighbors throw away my mail when they get it by accident...

One of my neighbors a few years ago broght me a HUGE stack of my mail that he found in a house still under construction down the street. ~Half of it was opened!!
They caught the kids that did it, they took mail from the whole street looking for cash and checks. Got caught trying to cash the stolen checks at the grocery store.

That's pretty funny. I always wonder what my mailman thinks. I went a bit crazy last December and ordered all kinds of gun mags so it seems like I get 1 or 2 gun related mags in each week, hehe.

Did your neighbor make any comments? Could be a great opening for developing another pro-2A person in the neighbothood!

well if he hated guns, he probably would have just thrown it away and you'd still be waiting anxiously by the mailbox(man i remember that feeling)
congrats on the permit which i'll bet you already have by now.
Let us know how it goes on that first outing to the qwickymart for a slushie.

Would be nice to think that, but they just taped it to the door with a note. Didn't even say where they lived. Oh well may bump into them one weekend doing yardwork.
Will report on the first outing as it Wally world trip when it happens. Try to stay away from there as much as possible. So far no problems as I am carrying my tomcat in my pocket. However the real challange begins when my CTAC shows up for my 1911 5".
