What Did I Find In The Mail Today?
A very nice letter from the probate judge containing my CCW license!
I was not expecting it so soon as I was told when I filled out the paperwork that it would take 3-6 months!
Filled out paperwork on 05\05\07 and it showed up today 06\16\07.
Now I need to get a holster of some kind for the .357 snubby.. I have a very nice IWB holster for the Springfield .45 from Brigade Gunleather, but with the VERY warm weather we get here in GA, shorts are a must! I want to "pocket carry" the Rossi, but a holster of some kind is required for carry in GA.
I thought I had some time to get one before the license showed up...
any thoughts on a inexpensive pocket holster for the Rossi .357 snubby?

Congrats!!

Have you looked at the Desantis Nemesis? I have heard that a lot of people like them.

Kruz,
Congrats on receiving your GFL so quickly. That is usually not the the case for most folks in Georgia.
Defensive Carry is the best CC board on the web. I also want to suggest that you also join in the discussions at www.georgiapacking.org
You will see a ton of information on local laws as well as good discussions on local issues on the message board.
If you are interested in a grassroots organization that is trying to reform some of Georgia's confusing carry laws, then check out www.georgiacarry.org
Anyway hope to continue seeing you at this website as well as over there.
+1 on the Desantis Nemisis holster. I hope to get one of these for my Kel Tec which is currently housed in a cheap Uncle Mike's pocket holster.
Why Ike, whatever do you mean? Maybe poker's just not your game Ike. I know! Let's have a spelling contest!

Congrats...
Oh and by the way... your fly is open
I will support gun control when you can guarantee all guns are removed from this planet. That includes military and law enforcement. When you can accomplish that, then I will be the last person to lay down my gun. Then I will carry the weapon that replaces the gun.

Congratulations on the happy news!
... But, probate judge? Did you inherit your CCW license from someone's estate??

Congrats...
on the new permit...
Save money, don't buy a 'fit all' holster...you'll regret it. Spend a little more for a holster to fit the exact weapon...SEE Fist holsters as a start...lots of holster makers on this board to choose from, too!
