PA Casinos are no carry
Hey all from PA,
Just a heads up that the Gaming control board has made our casinos no carry with out a letter from them. I saw this while down at the new one in SW PA.

Fortunately I am not into the gambling game but - what is the signage? Is it madatory as in state regulation strength - or advisory type?
Certainly worth knowing about for any ''slotters'' planning on a visit.

No problem here in Vegas- I carry in casinos all of the time, without problems. There are no posted casinos hat I have seen here.

True, but from what I understand, if you print or flash at all, you will receive a tap on the shoulder in very short order asking you to remove it from the premises.

Casinos, what are they then?
TN doesn't allow gambling unless you include driving on the interstates in the rain.

In Missouri, Casino's are all on River Boats and are off limits for CCW per the state CCW Statute.
Parking lot is not off limits so you may keep you gun in your car.
Just hope you make it from the Casino to the car before you get robbed of your winnings! There has been at least one person shot to death and robbed in one of the Casino parking garages in Kansas City in the past.

That's interesting because I always thought the Vegas casinos were no carry.
Probably just a misconception that I had for some goofy, odd reason or another.
Not that I would know since I don't gamble and I have no desire to start now.
That's good to know.
I could see how Pennsylvania would go for the NO CARRY in their casinos.
I wonder if anybody will fight that as being a violation of the PA. Constitution?

PA code SPECIFICALLY states what Govt. property is off limits.
And Carry on Private property is legal unless the owner objects.

The way I read the regulation is that you can carry if licensed. Section C.2..."(c)To obtain approval for the possession of a firearm or handgun within a licensed facility, an individual shall be required to demonstrate to the Board that the individual: (2) Is the holder of a valid license for the possession of a firearm or handgun."
"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the PEOPLE to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

Probably a good idea considering the activity.

Except on that long, lonely walk back to your vehicle when you have a pocket full of crisp hundred dollar bills and everyone saw you win them.
