OSBI said it's at the sheriff's office

I got a letter from the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation saying that my concealed carry permit application has been approved and my permit has been sent to the sheriff's office. I'm suppossed to contact them to make arrangements to pick it up. Hopefully they will tell me tomorrow to "Come On Down".
78 days since I dropped off my package. I guess that's not too bad for Oklahoma.

Well, all I have at this point is a full size S&W M&P 9mm and a Wilderness Safepacker so, I don't think I'm ready for a test trip to Wally World. I'm thinking about getting a Kel-tec P3AT as soon as I convince the boss that I NEED one.

Oklahoma usually waits till fairly close to the 90 day time limit. I had to get fingerprinted twice as the first time, even though at the local sheriff's wasn't "good enough".

For what it is worth, it is common for you to get your letter a day or two before the sheriff gets your permit. But, stay on them, don't let them put it in a drawer and make you wait a few days to pick it up.
