All there is in the world. I don't think you'd get such a thing published, actually. At least, not in any mainstream newspaper in the USA in 2007.

N he gave blanket permission to any one that wants to use to support second amendment rights.

I've had a couple of requests by forum members to use this list for various purposes.

So long as it is used to promote our second amendment rights I gladly give permission for it to be used, reprinted or otherwise published.

I would request that if you do post it or submit it to a newspaper for publication that you let me know. I don't need any credit for it as it is merely a compilation of things that I've learned from many websites, my CWP instructor and other's I respect but I would like to know how and when it's used, if it indeed is.

This list is only a codifying of things that most of us here know. It belongs to anyone who loves freedom. Use it as you will and let freedom ring.

The only thing I would change is to put #1 as all of the red tape we have to go through to get it. Background checks, and interview with the sherrifs office, (sometimes psych eval's), the cost involved, mandatory training, etc...
To those that paid for my freedom,

As with all statements I've made and All that I will make, please check your local laws to verify accuracy. (and if i'm wrong let me know as I like to be right in the future) After all I'm just some goofball posting on an internet forum.

Good for you sir - and it's something we can all work on. I am slacking as IIRC I think I have only ''snagged'' two this last year or so - but am ever looking for new converts.

Sheldon, thanks for thinking of us here. I am glad you got permission and I hope to use it soon. I copied it and hope to hand it out, and I am going to forward a copy to the local rag newspaper....I think we all should....it can't hurt...only a stamp and a note asking....nothing ventured nothing gained.
It is time we as CCW permit holders go on the 'offensive' and start telling our side of the story instead of having others paint a negative picture of us...we are the good guys...but we are keeping that too 'concealed'.
    thanks again

Welcome to the Forum Serenity. Excellent statement on how we live and why we carry. This will get saved to my HD for future use.

    Welcome Serenity, from Oregon.
    Great statement!

If anyone has any luck in getting this printed in a newspaper editorial post it.
