I live about a mile away from a smallish mall that includes a DMV office. While I was waiting at the DMV I noticed a posted sign at the main entrance to the mall. Said something like "All concealed firearms forbidden on the premesis, except for Law Enforcement Officers, and others who are legally permitted to carry."
Pretty neat eh? Not too often you see an entire mall embracing CC.
Also this is a somewhat new sign since it was not there about 3 months ago.
Now, we must all fear evil men. But there is another kind of evil which we must fear most, and that is the indifference of good men.

In VA you can't put up a ban at the DMV. Wonder if the sign is in response to a similar legal situation.

I can't help but wonder what legal weight signs really carry.

Excellent! The mall owners should be congratulated for understanding that CCW permit holders are the "good guys".
