I know they passed the bill and I know they are going to publish a list in October. Does anyone on the inside have any idea what states they are looking at?
I pray that AZ and or UT are on that list.
Any of you NVers have any further info to share? I can't find anything on it.

The only info i picked up is that they will require the states training requirements to be the same or more than NV has . Hope that helps ya .

NV Department of Public Safety should have their first list posted by October 1 this year. I can almost guarantee that UT will not make the list since they don't have a live-fire training requirement. AZ might make it, and there's an outside chance that FL will make it.Originally Posted by azchevy

The official deadline is Oct 1, but we may have some more info in about a week. The Nevada Sheriffs' and Chiefs' Association is holding a public forum to talk about the new reciprocity bill as well as other carry issues. Here's a snippet from the NRA-ILA email:

An overview of Senate Bill 237, the right-to-carry reciprocity measure signed by Governor Gibbons, will be highlighted in the session, as well as general comments and questions on Nevada’s concealed carry permit system. In attendance will be members of the CCW Subcommittee for the NSCA, and a representative of the Department of Public Safety’s Criminal History Repository. Public comment is welcome and encouraged, so please take the time to attend this important forum.
