That's what I do. It can limit the solo excursions, sure, but then I stay armed and safer. The salty fact of life is that IWB carry on a swim suit is downright uncomfortable.

A small 22 in a belly band below your trunks might work.

Yeah, but then I'm not in a string bikini, either. Lima's got a real problem.

Lima, tell JD to find you the white mesh laundry bag that Marines are issued during boot camp (or a similar equivalent). Turn the sucker inside out (or blacken JD's Last Name, Platoon/rack # on the ID tag), put your firearm (I would suggest condition 3) inside a ziplock bag, then put the bagged firearm inside a SafePacker. Then, drop the SafePacker inside the laundry bag with some sea shells and maybe a small aquarium net. Throw the strings of the laudry bag over your shoulder. Anyone looking at you will think you are picking up sea shells/small fish on the shoreline/reef.

The laundry bag looks like the one some snorkeling kits come in:

If you had a Glock, you could retrofit it with Maritime Firing Cups for underwater shooting at the pool or the beach.

Seriously though, one of those special handbags/beach bags with the built in holster might work for the pool. Some have locking zippers.
