i think i'll always be a bachelor. it's that whole "compromise" thing that doesn't sit well with me.

At 20 years of age I find this statement to be the one I agree the most with. However, I love my girlfriend, for all of our differences, and I think she's the only one that could be for me. I really don't want anyone else.

I wouldn't say that my wife hates guns. Quite the contrary, but she does not enjoy shooting, handling or talking about them constantly like I do. She does own a .357 Ruger Blackhawk (safe queen).

She puts up with me and I put up with her.

I'm in pretty much the same boat you are without the anti-gun mother spyderdude. My mom and I applied for our CCW permits on the same day. No real need to protect her, especially since in addition to a 9mm she packs a 160 lb. fiercely protective Great Dane for home defense.

Actually I don't own any Spyderco knives, all I have is a Gerber Fast Draw. The name comes from my car, which is a Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder (convertible). I am a blade nut though, because I have quite a sword collection (most of it decorative), and I have a few fixed blade knives.





The swords in the top pic are from the Hanwei forge, and can be used for cutting exercises. The swords in the bottom pic are all stainless decorative swords.

I love my wife ... evenso, the words 'marriage' and 'convenience' seem to have been antonyms in my experience. Kinda like 'recoilless' and 'magnum'
