Joining the ranks of CCW
Finally got it! Actually a 10 day wait since the application was submitted doesn't seem bad, especially with a holiday in there. Unfortunately, I have to wait until Monday to pick it up according to the notice of issuance.
Looks like the Wally World trip will have to wait until the 16th.

With only a ten day wait, I dont think I'd mind waiting until Monday to pick it up.

Gotta love Kentucky. Outside of the cities (liberals) the state is very gun friendly. The actually apologized when I submitted the application. The lady said it could take as long as 21 days because they were really backed up on applications. The ranks are growing.

Congrats on the new permit and a nice short wait! Have fun at Wally World! Pick up some WWB while you're there!

Most definitely, especially since the wife works for them. I get a 10% discount on my ammo.

Congrats...
Glad to hear you had such a short turn around. I just put my application in on Wednesday, but the estimated wait in GA is 2-5 months, apparently with an emphasis on 5...

Congrats on the soon to have permit. Ten days isn't a long wait, compared to some of the states that take their sweet time doing background checks for permits. I know when I turned in my paperwork, I was expecting a good 2-3 week wait, but it only turned out to be 5 days.
