My license has been issued......Texas
After 41 days I received notification of an issued license. I have spent those days reading this forum and learning much from many. I feel I am better prepared to carry a loaded weapon for my defense and the defense of my family because of the knowledge and wisdom and yes, even the funny stories gleaned from this forum. It has helped me decide on a carry weapon, appropriate holsters, belts and clothing which I feel will contribute to my participating in this constitutional right. Thanks to all and I look forward to many years of continued reading and posting......

War is not the ugliest of things. Worse is the decayed state of moral feeling which thinks nothing is worth a war. A man who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which he cares for more than his personal safety, is a miserable creature who has no chance of being free. -J.S. Mill
