What exactly are you interested in? There are more than 26,000 firearms related laws in this country between federal, state and local regulations.

By the way, there's no such thing as "Quick & Easy" when it comes to the government.

Your first stop has to be the BATFE web site.

There are few, if any, Federal laws specifically pertaining to concealed carry. That's left up to the States to regulate.

And the women come out to cut up what remains,
Just roll to your rifle and blow out your brains,
And go to your God like a soldier.

Willkommen, FriesePferd! Der Friede sei mit Dir.

For most of us, Federal law is an add-on to the state laws. The FL CWL guide says something like don't carry ... <to schools and other govt bldgs> ... and anywhere prohibited by Federal law. To me, that means Post Offices, military bases, and Federal buildings.

Unfortunately, as mentioned, there is no quick and easy. Only the elimination of restrictive gun laws which provide no value for keeping guns from criminals or safe for shooters will get us closer to quick and easy. If we eliminate the laws and regulations, we make things simpler to understand and follow.

Until then, talk with a gun-totin' lawyer in the state where you intend to carry. 'Cause the law ain't just what's written (as it would be in Germany), it includes what's been interpreted ('case law'). I happen to like Gutmacher's book for Florida, which includes some Federal laws.

    BATF website, FAQ section

A good summary of Federal firearms laws in understandable language can be seen at the BATF (Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms) website under Frequently Asked Questions:
