    State of Florida Came Through!

    I met the wife at the local range tonight at 6:30 pm eastern.Our goal was to have her fire some rounds through a S&W MP Compact 9mm. and a Glock 19 to see what she preferred.As I got out of my truck she walked up to me and smiled as she handed me my Florida CCW permit! It came in the mail today finally.47 days from application. But alas, no Wally World for me.....(I hate crowds..lol).So instead it was Beef O Brady's for my first lawful carry.No worries, no printing, no nothing.It felt like I was born to wear it. Now I know the feeling you all have knowing you are able to defend and protect your family and yourself from violence if need be. Just wanted to share my day with ya.....Thanks for being there.......Chris

    Congrats on getting the CWP and the 1st legal carry. The nachos at Wal-Mart are highly over-rated IMHO, so Beef O'Brady's will do (although I've been less than impressed with them on my last 2 visits, but that's another story...).
    Plans? Why make plans when you can do things haphazardly?

    It is in Florida.

    The restriction here in an establishment that serves alcohol is that you may not carry in that portion of the establishment that is primarily for the sales of alcohol.

    So if you are in a restaurant that has a bar, you cannot enter the bar area, even to pass through.

    Sitting at a table outside the bar area is just fine.
