    The Permit Cometh

I've got to say... Arizona doesn't waste any time in getting your permit to you! I took the 8-hour CCW class a week ago (7/28), sent in the application packet on Monday, and received my permit in the mail today (8/4). That's exactly 1 week from class to permit. Not bad at all!

It's time to put a black polo on, tighten my belt, and take a celebratory pilgrimage to Wal-Mart for some wiper blades and WD-40.

    Woo-hoo!

Congrats on the permit! The State of Alaska didn't waste anytime getting my permit to me either. It took exactly five days from the time I turned in my paperwork.

Get some Break Free CLP. It's better.

And congratulations on getting your CCW permit.

Whoa! That won't happen in Kansas. The Sheriff has one week to check you out before he sends it on to the AG. They have 90 days to process it and I believe there is also a minimum time tho I don't recall.

I'm in AZ and also got mine real quick also. I sent it in last month and received it about 7 business days later. Mailbox to mailbox. Pretty damn impressive.
