Remember there is no cure for this bite and the only treatment is to enjoy the Python and possibly get another one. Check out the Colt forum. A good many Colt owners go there and talk specifically about Colts. My 4" Python was bought this year used and is as smooth as silk, my 6" (bought new in 1979) isn't as good but is very close. Both were made in 1978. I am half heartedly looking for a 2 1/2" also made in 1978. With the prices of everything today it may be quite a while before I can get another.

The real problem comes for folks trying to make a complete ''snake'' collection - I spoke with a guy who, with his dad had almost all of them - the value in total was huge!!!

We will - of course - be expecting pics

One ought never to turn one's back on a threatened danger and try to run away from it. If you do that, you will double the danger. But if you meet it promptly and without flinching, you will reduce the danger by half.
