    CC IWB Position?

Where does everyone position their IWB holster? Not looking to crotch or SOB carry, somewhere around the hip. Seems like I see a lot of 3 o'clock, but that seems like it would stick out worse. Do most slide it forward of the hip bone (2-2:30) or back a little (3:30-4)?

Sure this is personal preference, but I'd like to start off in the right direction.

the best answer, and what everyone is going to tell you is this: Do what feels right, b/c the if it doesn't feel right you won't carry.

It will depend on your build, carry rig ( gun & holster ) and what feels best for you. For me it is around 4-4:30, front loop of the holster just about over the side seam of my pants.

3:15 over here. SilenceDoGood is right: just play with it until it feels right. I played with lots of different carry positions before I found the one that worked for me.

You should carry where it is comfortable to YOU!

    I carry at 1600 - 1630hrs.

    About 3:15 for me.

As others have said, this depends a lot on personal preference. Your body type and clothing choices are going to affect what feels good to you and what conceals well. Rather than trying to "start out right", play around a bit until you find a spot you like. Of course, once you do find a place you like, you'll always find you've got a belt loop in the way on your favorite pair of pants.

On this finely tuned specimen, about 3:30.

For me about 3:00 works best. I wear my belt just above the hip and in that position, the butt is pulled in against my side. Anywhere else and it prints too much. I guess that's the price I pay for fitness.

Your best bet is to try and see where your body naturally will draw from so it will be faster, and practice drawing from there. For me it's at kind of 2:50 with a slight forward cant so what works for me very well may not work for you.

3:29 to around 4:27 - seriously though - right in that area.
