They killed him from ambush. Carrying wouldn't have helped him, but maybe someone else could have fired on his attackers

Lowlife Punk Cowards! That victim with a family would have GLADLY given up his truck keys for the opportunity to go home and hug his kids again. Those perps didn't want a truck...they wanted to KILL SOMEBODY for a truck. They otta' be pan-fried.

That's so sad. I hope that the judge is able to dispense some good Southern justice to those two non-humans.

Totally agreed, I hope they get capital. Too bad it will go through 20 years of appeal courts to see the end. Sometimes I hate the justice system.

Absolutely no reason for this man to have died. Criminals like this need no mercy at all.

I agree with the description "lowlife punk cowards" and I'll add "with animal behavior"
Turn the election's in 2014 to a "2A Revolution". It will serve as a 1994 refresher not to "infringe" on our Second Amendment. We know who they are now.........SEND 'EM HOME. Our success in this will be proportional to how hard we work to make it happen.

analytically. situational awareness may have helped but who knows how these vicious people approached. One would have to see them approaching. But the way it sounds, there may have been no chance to react at all.

I'm saddened for this man's family. I'm not sure what more can be said right now. It's just so terrible
