I typically abhor putting stickers on my vehicle....even made the dealer take off their name on last two trucks I bought....however, I did put an NRA sticker on my camper window....after hearing ya'lls responses, I may take it off....it isn't really big enough as an "advertisement of support" but it could draw the "wrong" attention.

    Prospector,

Thank you! I thought I was the only one in the world that refuses to do free advertising (not to mention that it clutters up the vehicle).

I'm also with the rest of you - while I'd like to show support, there's too much of a down side. One exception: I recently passed a pickup that had a single white oval sticker on it with "RKBA" in black letters. I figure not many people outside the pro-second amendment crowd would know what it meant, and I'd consider one of those if I knew where to get one.

Ahhh - now that I would like and display - it is well subtle and a bit like a ''Molon Labe'' hat or t-shirt.

Also like too (fun suit on here!) - as Tourist will know and any folks who have been to Sturgis - the pin (one I wear proudly on my leather jacket) . ''DILLIGAF'' !!!!! LOL.

    Talking Why Advertise

The only sticker I have on my truck is a US Army retired. If that is not a big enough hint "Too Bad, So Sad".

I never put any bumper stickers on the car. I don't like to advertise anything. Besides, most of the time I ride my scooter. No room for one on it.

    I'm so tacky at times...

Some young folks were being - well young folks at a IHOP where some classmates I went to eat after a late night class.

Now some folks know what a AA sticker looks like. I saw some friends of mine in AA in IHOP and sure enough on some vehicles and motorcyles there were these stickers.

I "mentioned" them folks were Delta Operators, and if they knocked over that Harley they would get their butt kicked.

I also mentioned the bells under the Bikes were to keep away the road gremlins.

Young folks decided to hang in another area away from the bikes. My 65 y/o Dr. Buddy - the one with the Harley. "Damn, when did I get drafted into Delta Force, I was in the Army Nat'l Guard out of HS...damn how did I miss this?

Must have been during one of his blackouts I suggested...we had a big laugh over this IHOP deal.

Now you know where the Delta folks go for waffles at 11 pm.

I have an American Flag and yellow support our troops magnetic ribbons on all my vehicles, but no stickers at the moment.

Over the years I have had a few decals that had nothing to do with guns. One of my favorites to this day "forget world peace! visualize using your turn signal!"

If I ever get around to it though I will find someone to print me up a matching pair for my work van, one on with an arrow pointing to the left says "passing side" the pointing to the right says "suicide"

I have a '74 Dodge Charger that I'm restoring, and was told that any stickers on it would depreciate it's value, so no stickers of any kind on that baby. On the other hand I have a bunch of Rainbow stickers that I put on the rear bumpers of some of my big huge bouncer buddies, which takes awhile for them to notice.

I have two, on the lower left side of my back glass. One is a Glock sticker, and the other is a Sig-Sauer. The Sig sticker looks kinda like Ford's blue oval...

But my car is so ugly that someone would be more likely to think that I got the stickers as wishful thinking. Its a thousand dollar 94 chevy caprice, something that, in decent form, goes for four times that amount and could be considered a good deal.

Oh, I never have guns in the car un-attended unless there's really no way around it (which isnt often) or its parked outside the range. So if someone breaks into it looking for guns, they're gonna be pissed.

    Stickers

Being a College Student, I have two.

One is my University Name, with the college Name under it:

    IE
    Rowan University
    College of Engineering.

The other is a "calvin-ish" character wearing a fire helmet and peeing on a little fire.

i also have the small ID plates that my volunteer agencies issue on my vehicle.

nothing that relates to my feelings on CCW or gun ownership.
