WV has reciprocity with TN
TENNESSEE RECIPROCITY AGREEMENT SIGNED
Today, West Virginia Attorney General Darrell McGraw signed a concealed handgun reciprocity agreement with Tennessee, allowing Tennessee residents with handgun carry permits to legally carry concealed handguns in West Virginia. For several years, Tennessee law has recognized all other states’ licenses and permits as long as the individual licensee is not a Tennessee resident. Tennessee law requires a license to carry a handgun without regard to whether it is visible or concealed.
Please be aware that, like many other states, Tennessee has a variety of restrictions on where licensed individuals may carry handguns that are more restrictive than West Virginia laws. For more information on carrying a handgun in Tennessee, visit the Tennessee Department of Safety’s web site at http://www.state.tn.us/safety/handgunmain.htm

Every 'added' state strengthens our cause...
Now if only SC would recognize FL...

Chalk another one up to the good old TN permit! That is great news as WV was the last state that we could not carry in that I wanted to visit or travel through!
I believe that makes a total of 33 states that the TN permit is good in. I'll have to recount that, but I think that is pretty close.

The link doesn't give the "off limits" for Tn CCW, understand restaurants that serve booze are technically "off limits". Spent last week at Lake Lure, armed. Only time we ate out was at Cootie Browns in Johnson City, highly recommend.
Stay safe.

Yeah, yeah, Lake Lure's in NC, and Johnson City is the "long & winding road" from here. I'm legal in NC, too. We usually go to the TN side of the Smokies. Nice to be legal in several states, never know where you are!

Just a quick clarification, in TN Concealed carry is not required. It is a Tennessee Handgun Carry Permit, not a concealed carry permit. Open carry is legal and there are not penalties for printing or for your gun becoming exposed. Other than the stupid park carry and restaurant carry laws, TN is very gun friendly.
