Might move it to that location from under my leg seated on surveillance, when I needed to get out in public for some reason. I believed in the idea of the "floating" gun, carried in different locations based on circumstances. No longer working the streets and worrying about "being made", I carry strong side owb, or back pocket.
For me, revolvers and hammer fired guns have no place in my arsenal. I never have, nor will I ever own one. If you like them, that's great. They are better than nothing. I like my striker fired ones with triggers lightened to around 2.5 pounds.

You have a 2 lb trigger on your carry gun, but think AIWB carry is risky? I don't get it....

Are they carry guns? No one I know carries a sd gun with a 2.5# trigger.

The second sentence is called a "clue". One of the clues it gives me is that you aren't a very experienced shooter. Another clue is that you haven't done enough research to know better than to carry a trigger that light on the streets for sd. Everything about your posts screams novice status where carrying firearms is the topic.

WHY? Even my long range rifles trigger, is around 3lbs. And I don't carry them on my hip.

I suppose if I had a sneeze-activated trigger on my carry gun, I wouldn't want it pointed at my giblets either.
