I am not the only one that thinks AIWB is irresponsible and a reckless.

This is something nobody should do. Why WHY would you want something pointed at something vital. You never look down the barrel of something loaded. Why point it at my vitals.

So long as someone carrying AIWB isn't sitting in your lap, I don't see what the issue is.

I'm not saying we should kill all the stupid people. I'm saying remove all the warning labels and let the problem sort itself out.

The older you get, the less vital it becomes.

If it's in a holster I see no issue. I don't carry that way because it's not comfy for me.

As far as I know, guns only go off when the trigger is pulled.

I won't carry that way, can't stand it,.. I like pocket holster only which limits the guns I can carry, however its the only way my wife would ever consider. To each his own,,, I don't like it because I can't get comfortable.. not so much for safety.. bob

Like any other method of carry, it has its advantages, and its shortcomings.

I don't carry AIWB because I find it incredibly uncomfortable. If one handles their firearm in a professional manner and has a proper holster, AIWB shouldn't be any less safe than other carry methods.

If you don't like AIWB then don't carry AIWB. Same as if you don't like guns, don't buy or own a gun. No need to decide that your opinion should apply to everyone else too.

I use to think the same way, but chose not to remain with ignorant, gave it a try, and now choose to carry that way most of the time.
It has many advantages over strong side carry, and is completely safe.

I wear a smart carry up higher sort of like a belly band aowb with a big t shirt. Very comfortable all day and easily accessible for me. I limit that carry to dao hammer and revolvers though.

Although I don't carry AIWB I think the OPs statement is ridiculous. Such a broad statement is very uneducated.

Has anyone ever shot themselves while carrying AIWB? There are many people who carry this way, and it seems just as many who get animated about how terrible it is. (Note: I just checked, and my AIWB gun is still there and still hasn't shot me.).

It's one mans opinion. I don't like that way of carry. I also don't like Glocks. I feel it's like anything else its your choice.
