I just spent 1/2 hour browsing around. Looks like a nice site. I plan on spending some more time there. I like the way the map looks.
If I might offer a suggestion... when you click on a state on the multi-state permit generator map, could it ask you if you are a resident of the state? This would allow those "resident only" states to be red if you have a non-resident permit from a particular state that they honor.
If that is as foggy as my brain is right now, let me know and I'll rephrase it later in the day.

I was just going to ask the same question that CopperKnight did. it would be nice if it could be set so the first state clicked is set as resident and the ones after that as non-resident holders.
Otherwise the map looks great! Oh, is there a way to print it off?

I see what you mean about setting your Resident state on the multi-map. I'll get my guy working on that.
I'll also get the bug fixed with the states that are Right Denied.
As for printing, that is a feature I plan on adding. Here is my current list of features to add. Thanks for all the feedback everyone!

very nice work. did you map this yourself? its similar to the code that runs zone maps, you don't work for a carrier do you?
Can you add a feature so when you click on the state it fires a different caliber round sound when the state is clicked? I'll send in some wavs if you like. I can record on my phone at the range and take my big bag next time! I don't have 50 handguns....yet......but I have just about every caliber!

Thanks Savage. I didn't built it but I have a developer that built it for me. I came up with the idea and framework and he made it happen. We created it all from scratch other than the map image which I bought. I currently work as a project manager for a company that does online video training, http://www.lightspeedvt.com. But I also do a lot of things on the side and this has been my main focus.
And I have to say I have VERY pleased with the way it came out. I'm just really anxious to add more features!
I don't know if I want to add sound to the site. I've been developing websites for a while and most people that add sound to their sites seem to come back and ask me to take it off because it aggravates people. Maybe I'll start a poll.

Great map. I love the concept and it will serve users well. One nit though is that the Upper Peninsula of Michigan is not connected to Michigan but to Wisconsin. Those of us who visit the "UP" occasionally would much rather have Michigan laws than Wisconsin. Again...great map!
