Well, kind of. As of Oct. 1, any qualifications with a revolver will be put down as such, not as the exact model. And when you add it to your liscese it will be listed as revolver. BUT, if you already have a revolver on your permit, that does not count. You will most likely have to qualify again and then add it to your permit. They are not going retroactive with it. I'm planning on writing a letter to get those questions answered in writing to post on my site. Just need to find some time!

Nice site. After looking at various map symbols...and checking FL laws...

    ************************************************** ***
    Taken from FL law...

790.015 Nonresidents who are United States citizens and hold a concealed weapons license in another state; reciprocity.--

    (1) Notwithstanding s. 790.01, a resident of the United States who is a nonresident of Florida may carry a concealed weapon or concealed firearm while in this state if the nonresident:

    (a) Is 21 years of age or older; and

    (b) Has in his or her immediate possession a valid license to carry a concealed weapon or concealed firearm issued to the nonresident in his or her state of residence.

    (2) A nonresident is subject to the same laws and restrictions with respect to carrying a concealed weapon or concealed firearm as a resident of Florida who is so licensed.

    (3) If the resident of another state who is the holder of a valid license to carry a concealed weapon or concealed firearm issued in another state establishes legal residence in this state by registering to vote, or making a statement of domicile pursuant to s. 222.17, or filing for homestead tax exemption on property in this state, the license shall remain in effect for 90 days following the date on which the holder of the license establishes legal state residence. This section applies only to nonresident concealed weapon or concealed firearm licenseholders from states that honor Florida concealed weapon or concealed firearm licenses.
    *************************************************

As stated, FL only recognizes holders of non-resident permits IF the holder is a resident of the state for the permit he/she is holding. (There is a 90 day adjustment period for those moving TO FL.)

Shouldn't FL be yellow...as per the other states that only recognize non-residents who are holding permits from the 'state of residency'?

    Curious...

I've just launched the new maps.

    http://www.usacarry.com/index.php?op...pper&Itemid=36

    New Features:
Export to JPG - wherever you are, you can export that map to a JPG that you can save. Please be patient as it take a few moments to create the image.

Permits Allow by State View - Brand new map. By selecting a state on this map, you will be shown which state permits are allowed in the state you have selected. I do need to update the legend on this map to be cleared.

I just tried the save as jpg. I had the wait and then nothing. When I right click the map it still has the flash player alt menu. How exactly does one save the jpg?

Ok I went to the Multi-State map, saw two buttons, "Export to JPEG" and "Export to PDF". Jpeg brought up the wait thing and then opened a new window which then just closed.
The PDF one did the same thing but got this error:
"FPDF error: Missing or incorrect image file: tmp/7e94c1e9b6b2fc7dc5cc588c03e57b2b.jpg"

It looks like there are some issues with Internet Explorer 7 and the popup blockers. I'm looking into a work around. It works perfectly in Firefox.

Very nice site. I know that VT. doesn't issue a permit, but when selecting the "permits allowed by state" view and select MO., VT turns red indicating "permit not honored". MO. accepts all permits - might want to fix that or maybe you have another reason for it turning red.
