    Sorry for your friends loss of a friend . If all here learn that everyone is not who they represent themselves to be our of this incident then there is at least the hollow gain that it is unlikely to happen to that many folks in the future . Unfortunately many folks dont pay attention to the lessons todays world teaches on survival until the test , is it any wonder many fail ? I belive it was Will Rodgers who said something to the effect that only a wise man will learn from another's mistake , others have to pee on the fence for themselves .
    Make sure you get full value out of today , Do something worthwhile, because what you do today will cost you one day off the rest of your life .

    It can vary. In FL I believe it is 3 miles into the Atlantic but 10 miles into the Gulf of Mexico.
