Heck Chris, most of it is in the link I posted.

But yes Sir, I was a big fan of MV back in the day.
This is my favorite "shootout" from the series, with two time SWPL champion (1984 & 1988), Jim Zubiena.

On CSI Miami one of the women shoots a S&W3913 and "H" usually shoots a SIG that he mostly always cocks the hammer when he pulls it out.

Dan - just checked out that vid link - wow yes - well remembered and that is a blazing fast draw for sure. Quite breath taking. Trying to ID the shottie!

    CSI Miami

The one that H carries is a Sig 229.

I think that on the episode where Speed is killed off, you get a glimpse the lab report on the guns used in the shootout and it also identifies H's as a 229.

that, and it sure lookes like one.

On the NCIS season premier, it looked like the director pointed an XD at the Frog. Anyone get a closer look?

Remember 'Escape From New York'? Those futurisitic rifles were AR15/M16s with the handguards removed.

I think they had a bottomless/non-recoiling revolver too.

A little off track, but I have to laugh at the lack of recoil in most movies. The one that I laughed the most about was in "Hitcher" where the girl at the end (she couldn't of weighed more than 130) uses a Mossberg shottie with a pistol grip... and not so much as a slight recoil.

She must be hella-strong because when I shot mine with a pistol grip (granted it was loaded with magnum shells) I about wanted to cry from the pain in my right hand... not to mention it still had a pretty good recoil!

Oh, and I weigh around 240.

Berettas, Sigs, and HKs are used the most for TV shows and movies that I've seen.

It looks like Jacker Bauer in 24 carries an H&K USP

In one of my favorite series, Doctor Who, the character Capt. Jack Harkness (time traveler from the 51st century)carries an old school .38 revolver in contrast to all the fancy laser guns the BGs have.

Speaking of Cagney and Lacey, the new show 'Burn Notice' has one of them (the actress that played either Cagney or Lacey) as the main characters mother. The show is somewhat entertaining, has lots of nice gun porn (the girlfriend is an arms dealer), and has a major cheese factor.

Yet some reason I still watch it from time to time...

    EW,

In the earlier seasons of 24, Jack uses some variant of a Sig, not sure if it's a 229 or a 226...

Later on, Season 3 and later he uses an HK USP compact :)...

I'm pretty sure I've heard it said somewhere in there that he carries a 9mm no matter the flavor of the gun...

I think in the last season of 24, Jack was carrying a HK P2000 LEM.

yeh, ever notice how the good guys reload but bad guys don't??

is that a subtle hint that only BGs have "assault weapons" which (as everyone knows) never run out of ammo?
