    Denver area help with Rockies

My wife informed me this morning that she has tickets to the Rockies game tonight. They had some at her work. My question is can you carry in Coors Field or on the light rail. Parking is bad close to the station. We thought we would catch the train in. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

took me a bit to find this again hope it helps.

The other criminal safezone created in SB24 are facilities with security personnel and electronics weapons screen devices permanently in place at the entrance, or even handheld screening devices. That means, among other places, courthouses (already prohibited by federal law), many city and county buildings, and even Coors field (technically a public facility, but with screening devices in place).
here is a link to the whole thing if you want to wade through it.

Also ran into a few other sites while looking and they all say no as well.

Thanks for the info. I haven't been to Coors field and didn't know if it was posted or not. I guess I'll leave it home tonight.

While not specified in the law the big three (Coors field, Pepsi Center, and Mile High) all screen for weapons at the entrance gates and therefore are off limits. At least that is my understanding, I haven't been to any of them since I started carrying.

You are OK to carry on the light rail though. Not that it does you any good in this situation, but just so you know.
