I live in the suburbs outside of Phila. In the newspaper today there is an unfortunate story about a robber who killed two armored car drivers. He just went right up to them and assasinated them. Below is a quote from the moronic mayor of Philadelphia.
"Johnson blamed the loss of life on the availability of handguns in Philadelphia and around the country."
Speaking at an international police chief's conference he recently attended, he said: "Every other country has the same problems we have. The one problem they didn't have is our gun problem ... A robbery with a knife or a baseball bat, somebody might have been injured. A robbery with a gun, somebody's killed."
Last time I checked, you could get killed with a knife. You could also just get wounded with a gun. What does he want me to do if a guy comes at me with a knife? Hug him?
