    LongRider,

Locally, I've got a feeling it's going to explode within a week or two (in a good way). I'm speaking at the 2007 Gun Rights Policy Conference in Ft. Mitchell KY this Sunday, and was on local TV Friday night (mostly a neutral story). I'll be on Mike McConnells syndicated show on the 22nd at 10am.

I've met a LOT of people so far at the GRPC, and all are extremely sympathetic and want to help. Buckeye Firearms is going to help us out and try to get us on Fox National, a bunch of trainers have volunteered to help educate people, a local range owner is willing to help us out as much as he can, and Phil Heimlich (republican running for Congress) is willing to come down and talk to people on campus about this.

That all happened in 3 hours of talking. I can't wait for the rest of the week.

I like your shirt designs as well :-)

+1 on that. Jeep sounds like you are kickin butt! Keep up the good work and don't let them get you down. As long as we have younguns like you and our soldiers serving in Iraq this country is going to be OK. Do you have any contact with the Second Amendment Foundation seems like they would be an excellent resource for you. If not I bet they would be more than happy to jump in and back your efforts. If you need any artwork or graphics for T shirts, your website or whatever let me know know.

Thanks, it's appreciated. The conference I just got done speaking at was hosted by the Second Amendment Foundation. The networking and positive response was absolutely amazing. I talked for 10 minutes on stage but was busy with talking to other people who wanted to help for well over another hour and a 1/2.

I'm hosting the speech up on YouTube here in a few. You can tell I'm definitely not a well versed public speaker, but it worked.

wow jeep, very impressive. Enjoy the fight and much luck in this battle. I live in Ohio and am bound by honor, ethics and the law, not to go anywhere unarmed unless absolutely nessasary and for a very short time. (license , plates, federal buildings, post office...)
Happy I got my degree before I developed a gun ethic because I would be damned to spend ten of thousands of dollars of my own money to go to a place that did not allow me to defend myself.

TO THE STUDENTS ON THIS FORUM:

We're getting some serious national attention on this now people. This is a speech from the Gun Rights Policy Conference put on by the Second Amendment Foundation, and funded by the following:

    Kahr Arms
    KeepAndBearArms.com
    GunBookStore.com
    Kel-Tec
    The New Gun Week
    Bank of America
    BCN Telecom
    Merril Press
    Microsoft Gun Club
    National Rifle Association
    National Shooting Sports Foundation
    Washington Arms Collectors
    DPMS Panther Arms
    Women & Guns Magazine
    Sigarms
    Marlin Firearms
The Robert W. Dannelly Living Trust
    North American Arms

I was also on GunTalk syndicated radio, as well as local TV. DO NOT GIVE UP ON THIS, regardless what the facebook event list says, we have HUGE amounts of support, and we need to do everything we can to make sure this is a success. Contact your administration and your PD with the form letter to make sure they know what is going on, and there are no problems. Contact the media with the press releases (both can be found on the event's page).

TO OTHER MEMBERS THAT WOULD LIKE TO HELP:

We need your support in any way, shape, or form. Be that holster donations, blogging, telling your friends, telling your friend's college aged kids, the media, anything, everything, we need it. If you have some holsters that you could live without for a bit, please, let me know, we'll get them into the hands of somebody who needs them. If you'd rather donate a few bucks to go towards purchasing shirts to handout to students, please let me know.

We've got 2 weeks until this first protest, and I'm hoping we can make a serious impression about licensed CHL/CCW holders and college campuses.

I put the ConcealedCampus.com logo on my notebooks, and recently wrote an article about the upcoming protest for the school paper (which was amazingly published verbatim, no editing at all.) I've gotten a lot of comments and questions, and I'm looking forward to the actual demonstration.
