I just love a wife who carries concealed...

The spousal unit is going with my 80 y/o mom to Pittsburgh on Saturday for 4 days and the first thing she does is check reciprocity and asks me to get her XD9sc ready for airline travel. My mom is in good hands. :)

Sounds like it. Congrats on your wife taking resposibility for their safety.
We will be much better off when we learn to deal with things as they really are, instead of how we wish them to be!

And for a wife that cares about your mother.

I know what you mean. My wife is the same way and she carries an XD 40sc.

I feel sorry for the guys out there who have wives who don't carry, hate that they do, or just want to depend on the police for their protection. It's much better to know the woman you love can protect herself when the time comes.

She's got to be purty too.

I really like when they take it as serious as the should. What even worse than refusing to carry is when they toss it into that bottomless purse and think they are protected.

My wife is an Occupational Therapist and she was just informed by her boss that she is going to start doing home visits. This pisses me off to no end because I don't like the idea of her going into stranger's houses alone. But on the positive side, she said she'd now think about getting her carry permit because of it! It's a step in the right direction.
