There is always one out there.
Our FedEx driver is a nice kid who recently became a dad and I am in the process of getting him into a gun for self defense. Today he commented about a new neighbor who is a certified idiot. He's told me about some problems, but the latest "acomplishment" of this idiot was to put a bumpersticker in his car that says "I don't want to kill you, but don't push me." Also, his "bling" is a Concealed Weapons Badge...around the neck adorned with empty casings.
The first words out of my mouth were "that guy is a moron!" My mind just could not understand how anybody would be so stupid to 1) Advertise he is carrying (if he is), 2) Give away the element of surprise. 3) Run the risk of being charged with impersonating LEO.
You have to make the shot when fire is smoking, people are screaming, dogs are barking, kids are crying and sirens are coming.
Ego will kill you. Leave it at home.

I dont believe that he would ever be charged for "impersonation" just for carrying a CCW badge in plain sight.
He doesnt sound like the sharpest stick in the pile though does he?

And if this moron does shoot someone... guess what? His attorney had better be REAL darn good!
I can hear the prosecutions attorney now... "and isn't it true Mr. Moron that you just couldn't wait to shoot someone? To kill another human being? Mr. Moron, we have some photos we would like you to look at. Some pictures of your bumper stickers and pictures of you Mr. Moron, wearing a badge. Do you think that you are above the law Mr. Moron?"

I find it hard to believe that someone like that could get a permit. Maybe all smoke, no fire?

Not that I have any experience in the matter, but I don't think people like this carry to long. I mean, the gun is heavy, and it's uncomfortable, there are social issues, etc...
