I have been known to load magazines with gloves- particularly if I have been shooting a lot or inside. I figure the less exposure to lead you can get the better.

I want my guns and ammo not in my possesion to have bad guy prints all over them if found at a crime scene.
White glove treatment sounds like it would soak up any and all lubricant put on the weapon or ammo causing operating problems and tend to leave lint where it didn't soak up lubricant. All of my firearms and ammo work just fine with my prints all over them, never had a problem and don't expect to.

Why would your guns or ammo be in the hands of bad guys? Like a previous posted suggested, if one does get stolen it should be reported to authorities and clear any owner at a later date.
Just remember that shot placement is much more important with what you carry than how big a bang you get with each trigger pull.

Maybe I can sell some of those elbow length latex gloves to that guy.. you know just in case forensics check his hands for gun shot residue.

I will go out on a limb and say I DO THIS. It has nothing to with wanting to commit a crime or planning on it. It may just be my OCD kicking in. I usually reload with my carry ammo after I clean my guns from a day at the range. I just dont want the oils on the brass or magazine. I will load with the gun cloth. Yes it gets stuck in the mag. Sometimes I pull threads from the cloth out right after I push a round in. I work two jobs, have a family, and I am a law abiding citizen. I usually wipe my guns down everyday I get home when I set them down to remove oils from contact as well. Nothing sinister in this.

I think you guys need to go google "tin foil hat"

How about the corrosive effects of fingerprint acids on the brass?
