This man is a dangerous and stupid excuse of a human being, and I wouls have told him that the next time he pulls a prank like that someone would probably have shot him unaware of his intent. What an idiot...

I am a little surprised that no one has recited the most expected response:

"Hey, you stupid *S*O*B. You know better than that. You never point a loaded gun at anyone. Any you never unchamber a round with it pointing at anyone. You say you have a permit. I don't believe it for a minute or you would have known better."

If I did not get an immediate apology, then I probably have taken his magazine and unloaded the rounds in the trash and demanded the remaining round with the threat of keeping his pistol.

If he still has not recognized the seriousness of ways, then there would be no reason to linger any longer.

I would have let the guy know he was doing something pretty messed up.

What would have happened if he accidentally fired it, facing right at you?

You should have pulled him aside and let him know about his terrible weapon handling.

I'd say that the way your friend introduced this guy as "a pistol packing whatever" was a good tip that you'd just been introduced to an idiot.

My guess is that he probably shows and tells about his gun a lot. He's got that dunce / macho thing working.

Too many movies. Too little thought.

I know what you meant, but "approbation" means positive acknowledgment. "Disapprobation" is what he deserves.

I have read your post and the first two pages of responces. I'm glad there was no accident. I'm glad you made it out alive.

I won't Monday morning quarterback. You have given me something to think about.

I have seen people who are braggarts about being able to CCW and announce that they are carrying. Never understood giving up the advantage. I can honestly say I have never seen a braggart with excessive levels of stupidity. If I were the homeowner I would have been upset at his display and sent him packin. Not Cool
