Hope he wins his appeal though...
It certainly sounds like a personal vendetta to me...what goes around, comes around...
He doesn't appear to have done anything wrong.
If my license approval was dependent on people who "liked/didn't" like me...I'd be carrying a sling shot...

It sounds like he wasn't very discrete about his carrying a gun. I can see why his coworkers would feel threatened and would want to testify against his permit renewal. I think his own bad behavior is coming back to haunt him. Lesson learned for the rest of us.
