    Daughter Took the Class

My 26 year old daughter and her boyfriend took a "First Steps" handgun safety class yesterday. They're both experienced shooters so it was mostly review. They both plan to get their permits. I'm thrilled.

She and I hope that her getting permitted will spur my wife into getting hers, since she's always been a "me too" type of person. There's a new Glock 19 in it for her if and when she does. She took her handgun safety class with me so all she has to do is register, pay the fee and wait.

    Exellent.

Just tell your wife that the family that shoots together stays together.

Glad your daughter's taking it seriously, there's way too many fruitcakes roaming around free out there (there was yet another murder in my neighborhood lastnight). Good luck getting your wife on the right track, I'm still working on mine as well.

You should be proud of your daughter! I know that I am that mine wants to learn how to shoot. A buddy of mine has a 10 yr old daughter that can handle a 9mm better then some of the older guys that I know and respects the weapon better as well.
