    Had an Inner Chuckle

    So I am sitting here in my class room at seminary waiting for my next class to start looking at this site, 5.11's site and one of our holster makers site when one of my other professors comes into the room.

    Well, last evening there was a shooting 5 blocks from my tiny seminary (http://www.thepittsburghchannel.com/...17/detail.html), so I asked her what her view on the incident is. She said she had not heard about it till this morning when it had been mentioned in morning prayer. Well I Quipped I don't understand why the shooter tried to hit his victim with the gun.

    She commented that she doesn't know why anyone would carry a gun around because "If they carry it, then it is going to get used." I responded with their being a difference between those who legally carry and those who don't. My response was "Well the difference is those who legally carry do so with the hope of never having to use it." The subject was then changed.

    I had a small inner laugh as I have my M&P 40 holster 4:00 OWB. I have it but hope never to use it, the comment was made that the bullet costs $.25 but the use may cost $30,000 and this is something I respect enough to know when to use it.

    Oh the desire to OC since it is Legal and there is not rule against weapons here.

    He was probably trying to be the tough man and slap his 13 year old girlfriend's daughter around with a gun to scare her....oops! shot her in the face. What a moron.

    Nobody at my church knows I carry...not sure what the opinion on it would be. I'm not the roll over and die type though I do try to keep a low profile.
