My most frequent carry guns are 6 and 7 shot revolvers. I seldom carry a reload so my answer is 6 to 10.

Well, I carry my 642 and occasionally carry a reload (speed strip or speed loader).

The plan is to go to the gun show today and pick up a 1911 :). I will probably just carry whats in the gun and maybe a spare mag.

I carry a PT-145 with 10+1 and an extra mag, so I would fall into the 18-33 category.

Primary has 14+1, plus one or two 14 rd spare magazines. Backup has 6+1, plus two 6 rd spare mags. When carrying primary only, it's 29 rds minimum; when carrying both, it's a few.

27 on a "normal" day, 40 when on a detail or otherwise expecting extra trouble.
A man fires a rifle for many years, and he goes to war. And afterward he turns the rifle in at the armory, and he believes he's finished with the rifle. But no matter what else he might do with his hands - love a woman, build a house, change his son's diaper - his hands remember the rifle.

27 or 40 depending on whether I have 1 or 2 extra mags. G23. Normally 40. Way more than I ever need, but I like the extra comfort.

Rarely carry extra ammo, and usually the guns I carry are in the 6-10 range.
Except for my Sig229, which bumps it up a few.

I went with my bare minimum. On occasion (son's soccer practice) I will take one of my nines out without a reload. If I have the .45 I never leave home without at least one reload.
