Shock value alone would probably stop most people....and if not I'm sure it would take them at least a few seconds to stop laughing.

Absolutely. I've purchase a couple of horizonal knife/mag holders. They are thin enough that no one knows they are there and the Tshirt covers it

Of course! Wouldn't do any good to have the gun concealed but all my spare ammo, OC spray, knife and other accoutrements hanging out in plain sight!

I wouldn't carry a double mag pouch or an open top mag pouch out in the open, those would have to be concealed but I wouldn't worry to much about an incognito mag pouch that was visible to the public.

That is the same thing as being concealed!

If the ammo carrier is something that looks like it's something other than an ammo carrier, (ie, cell phone case) it's called camouflage and is in effect concealing what is really inside. Same effect.

I knew a fireman that carried his NAA mini-revolver inside the leather knife sheath that came with the Buck "folding hunter" knife! (everyone seen those, and know what I'm talking about?) It was a popular knife that everyone "had to have" about 30 years ago. The "mini-revolver" fit inside there perfectly and looked like any other "legal" knife sheath on his belt that thousands of other people carried. Obviously if he was stopped by the "Po-Po", he would have been busted for "carrying a concealed weapon!" But, no one was ever the wiser!

Just what I have in the pistol at the time which would be 15 + 1. However I do keep a loaded magazine pouch in the truck 30 rounds.

I just ordered an IWB single magazine holster for my Kel-Tec P-11 and another for my Glock 23. I've been carrying without a reload for long enough and made the decision to improve my tactics. I will be carrying them concealed.

Now the wife doesn't need to decide what to buy me for my birthday or for Hanukah.

Because I conceal my cash (what little of it remains after buying guns) doesn't mean I'll let my checkbook stick out of my pocket or dangle credit cards around my neck like dogtags.

Conceal or camouflage the spare mags or speed loaders. Just remember to regularly practice retrieving them.

When I am carrying concealed (I open carry a lot in the summer so no concealing the mags then) I do conceal the extra mags I carry as well.

    Yep, one spare mag OWB.
