Question Stickers on vehicles or not?

What do you think about stickers on your vehicle such as NRA or USCCA or IDPA etc. Do you think it makes you more of a target for a BG to break into your vehicle or catch you off guard to find a gun or will more people leave you alone? Or put another way, should you advertise on your vehicle that you carry or not?

Kind of like wearing a “shoot me first vest” or a big black fanny pack or a shirt that is an advertisement for gun manufacturers etc. Kind of defeats the whole concealed thing doesn’t it? Just joined the NRA but debating if I should put the sticker on my truck or not. . . . thanks in advance for you input.

I prefer not to provide intel for the bad guys or the cops in less gun friendly states (if I'm travelling), or for lunatic liberals who might damage my vehicle in a parking lot. Best to be the "gray man".

The stickers say: "please break into my car and see if there's a weapon you can steal".

Stickers are horrible on a car. Everything should be on a need to know basis, and noone but you should need to know that you carry. Take those sticker on put them on the front of a range notebook or on the side of a tool chest.

I just came in from removing my Glock sticker off my truck. I never gave it any consideration when I put it on. It's just another reason why I enjoy this forum, without it, I'd be just another uninformed hillbilly.

Not only does that sticker say "Break into this automobile to see if there's a gun here you can steal", it also says, "Follow me home there's sure to be guns there".

It is fun to put them on liberal's cars, and see how long it takes them to notice!

A friend of mine got cut off on the freeway by a lady. He let his temper get the best of him and he flipped her off. She saw the NRA sticker in his window and called the cops and said he pointed a gun at her. When we got pulled over we were both carrying, and got cuffed and stuffed into the back of a car. After that I decided I would never put stickers on my car.

I hadn't ever thought about this happening, but then again I don't flip people off. Too many crazies out there.

i dont like any stickers on my car personally.
in my opinion an NRA sticker doesnt yell 'i have a gun hidden in my car, break into it' at all, although some other ccw type sticker might. NRA stickers are simply too common especially with hunters.
as far as wearing shirts with gun manufactorers name on it, i wouldnt wear one when out and about, but if i need to stop by walmart on the way back from the range (so i would be wearing a big shirt that says pistol club and "SAFETY OFFICER" big on the back), im not going to go home to change first.
